Upstream Audio & Acoustics provides you with the technical expertise and additional development resources to increase the quality and quantity of the products and services that you bring to market. We specialize in helping develop hardware and software of all kinds. This development may be for direct product integration, marketing and promotional demonstrations, or specialized test fixtures, tooling and custom products to help you do your job more efficiently and effectively.

Test (Testing & Characterization)

We can also help you with several standard and specialized tests for both discrete audio components, finished audio products, and large scale audio systems. These tests may include the standard suite of audio performance tests, device HTOL/reliability tests, EMC tests, Half-Plane Acoustic Response Measurements, Loudspeaker distortion measurements, component variation performance tests, critical listening tests, and others.

Tell (Technical Marketing & Documentation)

Upstream Audio & Acoustics combines a keen understanding of the subject matter with a extensive experience in technical marketing, field application engineer training, and technical collateral creation. This unique skill set allows us to provide several key promotional tasks for your products, such as the creation of targeted reference and demonstration designs, technology and trade-show displays, and technical documentation and illustration collateral such as app notes, white papers, and data sheets. Additionally, we can help train your field agents to ensure that they are equipped to help you deliver your message loud and clear to your customers.

Acoustic and Pro-Audio Division

Through our acoustic and pro-audio division, this “Make, Test, and Tell” model extends to the Sound Reinforcement client as well:

Make: We can help you design and contract sound reinforcement systems for music and live-event venues, sports stadiums and arenas, and assembly, conference, and worship centers. either as a design-to-suit architecture consultant or general contracting for system installation and tuning.

Test: We can help trouble-shoot issues, evaluate performance, and “ring-out” your sound system, and then make custom recommendations based upon those findings.

Tell: Upstream Audio can make custom training and documentation modules for your sound-reinforcement staff and facility. We take all of the jargon of owner’s manuals and user guides and condense then into an approachable, easy to use “CliffsNotes” guide for your staff and volunteers to use. We also offer on-site training focused on teaching your people how to use your sound system.
